Marvel is releasing a fair few intriguing single issues and bind ups this new comic book day!
Single Issues:

THE X-MEN ARE ENSNARED IN CHASM AND THE GOBLIN QUEEN’S DARK WEB!
Chaos reigns in the streets of New York City as demon hordes pour forth from the realm of Limbo a realm that until recently was ruled by Magik. A realm now ruled by Cyclops’ ex. Also, Havok’s ex. Also, a clone of Jean. The X-Men wade into the fray by taking on some of their darker history as the Goblin Queen returns for vengeance!
As I always say, comics are weird, and the X-Men are weirder still. So if you don’t know much about Jean’s-clone-come-ex-of-Cyclops-and-Havok, I’d stay far away from this. Also, if you haven’t read the first Dark Web issue, then also read that first.

IT ALL ENDS!
Tony Stark, the genius-billionaire-playboy-philanthropist, has lost it all: his wealth, his fame, his friends. But Stark doesn’t realize he still has so much more to lose, especially when the assassins start to come for him! It’s the beginning of the end, as the Golden Avenger must fight for his life and find out what it really means to hit rock bottom. Join Gerry Duggan (X-MEN) and Juan Frigeri (AVENGERS) as they take Iron Man to the darkest corners of the Marvel Universe yet!
This run follows on from Christopher Cantwell’s Iron Man series, so I’d recommend reading that first.

HIGHER. FURTHER. FASTER.
Universal powerhouse MONICA RAMBEAU stars in her very own all-new adventure! The hero known as PHOTON has been charged with making a very special, very cosmic delivery – should be light work (get it?) for Monica… if family drama doesn’t hold her back!
The last Monica Rambeau solo comic was over 30 years ago, so as long as you know a bit about Monica you should be fine to read this without much prereading. If you do want to do some prereading, I recommend her most recent appearances – Ultimates and Avengers: No Road Home by Al Ewing, and Strikeforce volumes 1 and 2 by Tini Howard.

Four of the cornerstone issues that ushered in the Marvel Age of Comics in one unbeatable package!
In FANTASTIC FOUR (1961) #1, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby changed everything, introducing Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, and Susan and Johnny Storm – and sending them on the ill-fated rocket trip that transformed them into the Fantastic Four!
In AMAZING FANTASY (1962) #15, Lee joined another legend, Steve Ditko, to spin a tale of power and responsibility featuring teen wallflower Peter Parker?the icon-in-the-making named Spider-Man!
In X-MEN (1963) #1, Lee and Kirby created a new breed of hero _ the X-Men, whose mutant abilities are a gift they’re born with?or is that a curse?
And in AVENGERS (1963) #1, they united Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Ant-Man and the Wasp in battle with Loki… and, lo, the Avengers were formed!
The original first issues of the Fantastic Four, The X-Men, The Avengers AND Spider-Man all in one issue – if you’re looking for the first ever Marvel comics, or have a comic book lover who needs a Christmas present, then this is the perfect thing to pick up!
Bind Ups:

Captain Marvel no more! After surviving a brutal fight, Carol Danvers deserves a break – and so does her fellow “Marvel” Monica Rambeau. But when Carol suddenly goes missing, the newly sentient cosmic entity called Binary must take her place – though stepping into the shoes of one of Earth’s greatest heroes is no easy feat! And as the mysterious Binary finds herself plunged into a world she barely understands, the questions about exactly
who – and what – she is grow ever deeper! But where is Captain Marvel anyway?! Would you believe captured by Agatha Harkness and a tribunal of some of Marvel’s most powerful magic-wielders?! Plus: Carol Danvers is a jailbird in a cosmic prison – locked up along with those space-faring pirates, the Starjammers!
Previous volumes are: Re-Entry, Falling Star, Birth of A Dragon (optional reading), The Last Avenger, Accused, The New World, Strange Magic and The Last Of The Marvels. I’d recommend knowing a bit about Carol, Monica and Agatha before reading this.

he must convince the world there’s a new Iron Man – and what better way to boost
Shell-Head’s popularity than stopping a nuclear satellite from crashing to Earth!

drop by! But while an alien spreads horror in orbit, the Rhino wreaks havoc on Earth!
Fearsome foes are lining up to take down Iron Man – but will Blacklash, Blizzard
and Boomerang help him against the Ghost? And will the most dangerous threat
of all be Grey Gargoyle, the Mandarin, Doctor Doom…or Tony’s new flame, Kathy
Dare?! Plus: Iron Man stars in the world’s first computer-generated graphic novel!
Previous volumes are: The Golden Avenger, By Force Of Arms, The Man Who Killed Tony Stark, The Fury Of The Firebrand, Battle Royal, The Enemy Within, Duel Of Iron and Stark Wars.

Will Jane Foster don the mantle of Thor once more? When Mjolnir comes crashing through Valkyrie’s window, she fears the worst has happened to the God of Thunder. Where is Thor, and why did his mighty hammer seek out Jane? Asgard’s greatest enemies – including Hela, Ulik the Troll and the Enchantress – have mounted a shocking assault on the Golden Realm, and the warriors of Asgard are losing…badly. Valkyrie’s ally R na has managed to stave off total defeat, but the Asgardians desperately need Thor. Jane begins a quest to find the Odinson, but can she find clues to his whereabouts in Limbo – or will she lose herself to S’ym’s dark magic? And to save the day, must Jane Foster become the Mighty Thor once again?
I’d recommend knowing a bit about Jane, and to have read the entire Jason Aaron Thor run, including War Of The Realms, before reading this.

The rumors are true! Spider-Man came out swinging in 1984 in a new black costume that rocked the comics industry and changed the way Marvel viewed its most famous iconography! The Marvel Masterworks launches into this historic era of Spidey history with a collection that showcases top-shelf work from the creative team of Tom DeFalco and Ron Frenz. They ask: Who is the Rose, and why has he picked Spidey as his target? Then the Red Ghost and Jack O’Lantern return, while the Puma makes his debut! Meanwhile, the Hobgoblin goes on the hunt for Norman Osborn’s most dreaded secrets – and has Liz and MJ square in his sights! Plus: Stan Lee returns to script a double-sized Annual showdown with the Scorpion!
All previous volumes are just numbered 1-23.

A bold new beginning for Marvel’s most savage super heroes! Since his exile from his own time, Conan the Barbarian has conquered every foe the modern Marvel Universe has to offer – but what happens when this hard-edged Cimmerian finds himself targeted by the cybernetic future soldier called Deathlok? Outgunned and outmatched, Conan must turn to an unlikely group of loners, berserkers and killers if he hopes to survive – a sensational new lineup that will resonate across every era of the House of Ideas! But as Deathlok pursues Conan and these new Savage Avengers from the present day back to the Hyborian Age, can anything stop his murderous manhunt? Who is behind Deathlok’s assault? And can this hastily assembled team handle the dangers that lurk in every corner of Conan’s home era?
I recommend knowing at least a bit about Conan, the Savage Avengers and everyone mentioned in the synopsis first.

After years of will-they-won’t-they friendship and occasional romance, Peter pops the question – and after much soul-searching, MJ says yes! Plus: The newspaper-strip version of the wedding, a wild WHAT IF? and the complete saga of the happy couple’s history!
Want to read more about Peter and MJ’s love story? This is your perfect option, and as this is collecting classic stories, you just need some base knowledge of the characters and you’re good to go!

Loads of classic Thing stories from across the 60’s and the 80’s, so as long as you know a bit about all the characters mentioned, you should be fine.

The best there is – and the worst partner possible! Deadpool was the king of Staten Island, and now he wants to be an honorary citizen of Krakoa. Wolverine just wants him to shut up. But with Earth reeling from the revelations of A.X.E., a risky play by Logan may be the planet’s last, best hope!
As always, refer to my X-Men guide as to whether you need this volume or not.

Everyone’s favorite X-Men have returned – but everything is different! Mutants are taking a huge leap forward by founding their own nation on the island of Krakoa – guided by Professor X, Magneto and a mysterious, long-lived mutant who knows much more than she should. Mutantkind is ready to protect their new homeland from threats of all kinds – but if they knew the truth about the mutant whose secret power of resurrection was the key to it all, would they be so eager to sacrifice everything to defend their founders’ dream? That’s right, the ’90s X-Men are tackling the Krakoan Age thirty years early – including Arakko, the gala and more – and it’s not going to go the way that you expect!
This is one for you if you’re a fan of the 90’s X-Men!

But when Cyclops and Phoenix are kidnapped – and Cable seemingly assassinates Xavier – the X-Men, X-Factor and X-Force go to war…with each other! Witness epic battles around the globe and on the moon as Mister Sinister’s subtle plan of vengeance on Apocalypse unfolds. And prepare for major revelations about the true identities of Cable and his twisted doppelganger, Stryfe! Featuring blood, angst, sacrifice and great big guns as Marvel’s mutant families dance to the villains’ twisted tune!
Previous volumes are: Children of The Atom, Lonely Are The Hunted, The Sentinels Live, It’s Always Darkest Before Dawn, Second Genesis, Proteus, The Fate Of The Pheonix, I Magneto, The Gift, Dissolution and Rebirth, Mutant Genesis and Bishop’s Crossing. As per always, there are a lot of missing volumes throughout this run, specifically volumes 9-11, 13-16 and volume 18, so be warned that there is a lot of story missing!
And that’s everything coming out this week! What’s going on your pull list? I’m looking at Monica Rambeau Photon, X-Men 92, and Jane Foster And Mighty Thor!
