There’s a fair amount coming out this week, so let’s get into it!

WEEK 2 – If WOLVERINE’s future lies in the past, what does that mean for the present? The reciprocal series to X LIVES OF WOLVERINE, X DEATHS OF WOLVERINE is can’t-miss reading, chock-full of revelations for the best there is as well as the fate of mutantkind!

This is part of the X Lives Of Wolverine series, so you must read last week’s issue first.

Black Cat has been kidnapped, and the only person who can save her is… MARY JANE WATSON?!

•  But remember, this is the Black Cat we’re talking about. Things are never quite what they seem.

I’d recommend going into this with previous knowledge of Mary Jane and Black Cat.

A NEW CREW SETS SAIL! With Kate Pryde at the helm, the Marauders are ready to renew their mission of mutant rescue! She’s got the mission – all she needs now is a new boat and a fresh crew to match. Pryde and Bishop must unite a crew of mutants, new and old, to spring Daken from imprisonment at the hands of a leader who’s as cruel as he is charismatic: the primal provocateur known as Brimstone Love!

It’s the Marauders versus the Theater of Pain, a torture troupe that’s set up shop in Xavier’s School’s old backyard! Come aboard for the first adventure as Steve Orlando takes the helm with our sea-faring mutants!

Even though this is a one-shot, I’d recommend being up to date with Dawn Of X and Reign Of X. I’ll have a Reign guide up soon.

A power-mad Mayor Fisk has been gathering information on super heroes. How far will Bucky Barnes go to steal the file on his own shadowy, half-remembered past as the Winter Soldier? And what horrible revelation awaits him if he can get past the Kingpin?
Some secrets are meant to stay buried. And some doors are meant to stay closed.

Bucky Barnes is joining in with Devil’s Reign, so again, make sure you’re all caught up with the event!

Bind Ups:

If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some horns on your head! Daredevil and the Black Widow ditch New York City and head out West to get some peace, love and appreciation. A standalone story, but I’d still recommend having knowledge of Deadpool, Gabby Kinney and Bullseye.

This has a lot of cameos and objects that rely on previous knowledge, I’d maybe avoid this if you’re new to Marvel Comics.

Another one that definitely feels like it’s not for newbies, considering the amount of characters that turn up, and how much time it covers. If you want a guide to this, let me know!

This is a one-shot, and doesn’t tie into anything else, so as long as you have a bit of knowledge on Red Guardian and Yelena, you should be fine!
