This is the last new comic release day post for the year, as I’m taking Christmas off! I’ll have something up on Wednesday for Hawkeye, but apart from that, I’m done for the year!
With that announcement out of the way – it’s time to get on with this week’s new comic releases!
Single Issues:

AN ALL-NEW SERIES STARRING THE AVENGERS OF THE MULTIVERSE!
On a quest for cosmic vengeance, Ghost Rider finds himself roaring through the wasteland on a ruined Earth, where the great age of heroes never came to be, where hope is a four-letter word and where his only ally in the coming battle against the greatest villains any universe has ever seen is the world’s most wanted archaeologist, Tony Stark…the Invincible Ant-Man. Spinning out of the cataclysmic events of AVENGERS #750 and operating in lockstep with the prime AVENGERS series, the next great Avengers saga begins here, as the Mightiest Heroes of every Earth begin to assemble.
This one takes a lot of pre-reading, I’ll make a guide for it in the new year. But for now, I’d say at the very least you need to be up to date with the current Avengers run and Cosmic Ghost Rider.

THE SPIDER TRAPPED IN A WEB OF HIS OWN MAKING!
After reading from the ancient Darkhold, Spider-Man was meant to gain the power to enter the dread Chthon’s dimension and stop him from spreading his mythic darkness across the globe. Instead the book drove him insane – but what does that mean for the stalwart Peter Parker? Dive into a warped world of Spider-Man’s broken mind!
Make sure you’re caught up with the Darkhold series before reading this – again, I’ll make a guide for this run in the new year.

Visit the final days of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as we celebrate the legacy of the House of Ideas with MARVEL TALES! This anthology series shines a spotlight on fan-favorite characters, features timeless stories and highlights some of Marvel’s most impressive talent from the past eight decades! They are the few remaining Avengers: Hawkeye, the blinded archer; the Wasp, pint-sized dynamo cursed with an incurable shrinking disease; Cannonball, the mutant X-Man; and former Ant-Man/Giant-Man Hank Pym. They’re not the strongest, but they are the only hope in the final battle against the greatest enemies of mankind. They are the Last Avengers. And united, they will fall. In this shocking tale from THE LAST AVENGERS STORY #1-2, fan-favorite writer Peter David presents a dark vision of the future, stunningly realized in the painted artwork of Ariel Olivetti!
A reprint of an old series, focusing on an alternate universe version of the Avengers.

MS. MARVEL RETURNS IN A NEW STORY FROM BEST-SELLING AUTHOR SAMIRA AHMED!
While on a break visiting her cousin in Chicago, Kamala Khan stumbles upon a robbery at a university physics lab . . . and maybe sets off an explosion of interdimensional proportions in the process. Still, nothing she can’t handle. Or so she thinks, until she gets home and finds her whole world turned upside down . . .and into a Bollywood set?! Why is everyone she knows singing, and how can she make it stop?
I’d recommend having at least a bit of knowledge of Ms Marvel before jumping into this – I’d recommend G. Willow Wilson’s run – I’ll go into more detail with this character next year when her show comes out.

DEADLY ACCURACY!
Witness the never-before-told story of HAWKEYE’S training with STICK-the man formerly known as DAREDEVIL! Clint Barton’s sight may be gone, but his will to avenge is stronger than ever, and with the training and expert guidance of MATT MURDOCK, arrows will fly again! But what is Murdock’s actual target? And how will this change Hawkeye’s path in the Wastelands? This is one issue YOU can’t afford to miss!
Part of an interconnected podcast series, so you’ll need to be up to date with that before going into this Hawkeye comic.
Bind Ups:

From villain to vigilante! Follow Eddie Brock as he evolves from Spider-Man’s deadly foe into a twisted new hero – starting when Spidey recruits Venom to battle his psychopathic offspring, Carnage! But Eddie’s still out for blood, and he doesn’t care who gets in the way – even Ghost Rider! Can anyone convince him to drop his grudge against Spider-Man? Venom forges a fresh future in San Francisco, targeting those who prey on the weak! But he’ll soon find himself judged by the Jury and swarmed by strange new symbiotes! Plus: Venom shares a nightmarish team-up with Wolverine!
The first volume in this series is called Venom Epic Collection: Symbiosis.

Thor puts the “epic” in Epic Collection, teaming up with Hercules as the two titans battle their way into Pluto’s underworld! Then, Thor joins Sif and Balder as they journey across the cosmos to stop the mysterious Black Stars from destroying the Rigellian homeworld! The unstoppable Destroyer threatens Midgard (A.K.A. Earth!), Galactus’ herald Firelord makes his debut and teams up with Loki and the origin of Ego the Living Planet is revealed-and that’s just for starters! Jane Foster is back! Thor battles the gods of Egypt! And the Absorbing Man joins forces with one of Asgard’s toughest customers: Ulik the Troll! Plus: a rare Hercules solo story!
The previous volumes are: The God of Thunder, When Titans Clash, The Wrath Of Odin, To Wake The Mangog, The Fall of Asgard and Into The Dark Nebula.

Before he would set AMAZING SPIDER-MAN on the path to comics glory, master storyteller Roger Stern did a spectacular job on Spidey’s sister title! Producing a run of the wall-crawler’s most memorable tales, Stern introduced a host of new and compelling characters – including the gangster Belladonna and a new love interest for Aunt May, Nathan Lubensky – and reinvigorated the Prowler and White Tiger. But don’t worry, Stern left room to spare for iconic enemies! The Vulture returns – and he’s brought his evil nephew Malachi with him! And another veteran of the Sinister Six, Mysterio, is up to no good, in league with a gang of Spider-Man’s oldest villains!
This is the fourth volume in the Marvel Masterworks: Spider-Man series, the previous three aren’t named, just numbered.

It’s Doctor Strange at his very best, brought to you by a host of top-flight creators including Roy Thomas, Gene Colan, Stan Lee and Barry Windsor-Smith! They’ll take you on a trip to the dark side of the Marvel Universe and bring you before the Undying Ones, Baron Mordo, the cosmic threat of Eternity and the eldritch horror of Shuma-Gorath! Then, Steve Englehart and Frank Brunner break new boundaries of cosmic consciousness and other-dimensional adventure. Their all-time classic “Sise-Neg Genesis” and “Silver Dagger” sagas are strikingly personal epics featuring deliriously lush art and stories that plumb the depths of Strange’s soul! Also, witness the death of the Ancient One and Doctor Strange’s ascension to Sorcerer Supreme!
The first two volumes in this Doctor Strange Epic Collection are: Master Of The Mystic Arts, and the second is not released yet, just o be a pain.
And that’s everything coming out this week! What’s on your Christmas pull list? Tell me down below!
