3rd November Marvel Comic Releases

A small break from my Eternals posts to give you this week’s new comic book releases!

Single Issues:

Death Of Doctor Strange: Avengers by Alex Paknadel

•  With Doctor Strange gone, the Avengers are the only ones who
can stop a rampaging Juggernaut-like monster from wrecking all
of Manhattan!
•  But what does this mystical creature want?
•  And how does the magic-skeptical Iron Man hold the answer?

A tie-in to the Death Of Doctor Strange storyline, so make sure you’ve read that first!

Strange Academy Presents: The Death Of Doctor Strange by Skottie Young

Strange Academy is closed until the events surrounding Dr. Strange’s death are resolved, so the students go back to their parents!
•  Iric and Alvi’s mom happens to be the Enchantress, so you know this isn’t going to go smoothly. We’re going to learn that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and more than just one realm is in trouble.
•  All this and more!

Another tie-in to the Doctor Strange storyline, as well as a continuation of the Strange Academy series. Make sure you’ve read the first few issues of Death Of Doctor Strange and Strange Academy First Class and Bright Side first!

Black Knight: Curse Of The Ebony Blade by Si Spurrier

Dane Whitman rides again as the Black Knight, wielder of the magical Ebony Blade! But Dane bears the burden of the blade’s curse: an insatiable lust for blood and mayhem that forever threatens to swallow its owner in darkness. Following the battle against the King in Black, a reinvigorated Dane has a renewed sense of purpose. But the Ebony Blade is the key to a new enemy’s evil plan, and only Dane can prevent the coming death and destruction. The conflict – spanning from mythical Camelot to modern-day NYC – will test Dane like never before and challenge everything he believes about himself, the Ebony Blade and the entire history of his lineage! What is the dread power of…the Ebony Chalice?

I’d recommend having some level of knowledge of Black Knight and Dane Whiteman before you go into this, as well as Camelot. Luckily for you, I’ve got a character profile coming up for this character this week!

And that’s everything coming out this week, what’s on your pull list? I’m going to be checking out the Death Of Doctor Strange Tie Ins, as well as the latest Dan Slott Fantastic Four!
