Before I start this blog post, I’d like to do a quick PSA:
These are the symptoms of colon cancer:
https://www.cancer.org/latest-news/signs-and-symptoms-of-colon-cancer.html
Please, if you have any of these symptoms, go and get checked out. Cancer is a serious thing, and the earlier it’s be detected, the earlier you can be treated, and the better chance you have of surviving. Do not leave it, thinking it’s nothing. It’s better to be checked and it be a false alarm, than to ignore symptoms and getting diagnosed too late.
Also, these are some links to colon cancer charities, if you wish to donate in Chadwick Boseman’s honour:
Black mental health matters, if you are struggling, please do get in touch with someone on this list. Please don’t suffer in silence:

With that, here’s the actual reason why you clicked on this blog:
Comixology (a website which sells digital comics) have recently had a sale on, where every Black Panther issue ever released has been made FREE! Naturally, that means there’s a lot to sift through, so I thought I’d give you a few recommendations of what to buy:

Black Panther reinvented as a sharp and witty political satire? Believe it! T’Challa is the man with the plan as Christopher Priest puts the emphasis on the Wakandan king’s reputation as the ultimate statesman, as seen through the eyes of the U.S. government’s Everett K. Ross. As the Panther investigates a murder in New York, Ross plays Devil’s Advocate in an encounter with Mephisto, and a new regime seizes control in Wakanda. When the truth behind the coup becomes clear, T’Challa finds himself an enemy of the state — and a major revelation threatens to destroy his relationship with the Avengers! Plus: Meet Queen Divine Justice — is she ready to join T’Challa’s deadly crew of female bodyguards, the Dora Milaje? Are they ready for her? Hold onto your pants, because Ross sure can’t!
This is a very famous Black Panther run – if you’re looking for a T’Challa adventure from an outsider’s perspective, this could be for you! Even if you’re not, this comes highly recommended by basically every Black Panther fan!

Witness the early years of the man who will come to rule one of the most scientifically advanced countries in the world! Wakanda has always kept itself isolated from Western society, but that’s all about to change. Young T’Challa knows he is destined to become king, but when his father is brutally murdered by outsiders, he’ll find himself taking up a mantle he may not be ready for. Experience never-before-seen drama from the reign of T’Chaka, the king whose death changes a nation’s history forever. Learn about the mother T’Challa never knew. See how the world learns about this wondrous nation for the first time. Will the power of the Black Panther be enough to keep his country safe? Journalist Evan Narcisse makes his comics debut alongside acclaimed writer Ta-Nehisi Coates as they chronicle T’Challa’s rise to the throne – and to the Panther legacy that made him an Avenger.
This is perfect for anyone looking for the origins for T’Challa! Coates can be a little wordy as an author, but that doesn’t bother me personally!

A new era begins for the Black Panther! MacArthur Genius and National Book Award-winning writer T-Nehisi Coates (BETWEEN THE WORLD AND ME) takes the helm, confronting T’Challa with a dramatic upheaval in Wakanda that will make leading the African nation tougher than ever before. When a superhuman terrorist group that calls itself The People sparks a violent uprising, the land famed for its incredible technology and proud warrior traditions will be thrown into turmoil. If Wakanda is to survive, it must adapt–but can its monarch, one in a long line of Black Panthers, survive the necessary change? Heavy lies the head that wears the cowl!
I’m slowly collecting this series, and can highly recommend it! I’m only two volumes in, but I am hooked and cannot get enough of it!
World Of Wakanda

“YOU DESERVED SO MUCH MORE, LITTLE FLOWER. YOU DESERVED A WAKANDA THAT CHERISHED YOU.” Writer ROXANE GAY (Bad Feminst, Hunger) spins a Wakandan love story — its tenderness matched only by its brutality. You know them now as The Midnight Angels, but in this story they are just Ayo and Aneka, young women recruited to become Dora Milaje, an elite task force trained to protect the crown at all costs. What happens when your nation needs your hearts and minds, but you already gave them to each other?
If you want to see a story focusing on the Dora, this is definitely for you! It’s such an interesting concept, and I cannot wait to get to it!
And that’s some of my recommendations! There’s a whole load more on Comixology to explore, but these are all great places to start/runs to check out!
